ECHOSNOUT

Echosnout is a grizzled, bony, black-and-white she-cat with amber eyes.

Echosnout is the current head medicine cat of RiverClan, serving under Darkstar in the forest territories. Originally, Echopaw was apprenticed to Foxclaw as a warrior. However she was soon called to the path of a medicine cat, becoming Icewhisker's apprentice. She earned her medicine cat name Echosnout, going on to mentor Cloudberry and later Milkfur II.

APPEARANCE

Echosnout is a bicolor, black-and-white she-cat with amber eyes. She is mostly white, and has a graying muzzle and paws. Her face is angular and gaunt, with a long, blocky muzzle, sunken eyes, and thick eyebrows. She has large, somewhat droopy ears, one of which has a notch in it. Her body is bony, particularly in the shoulders and haunches. She has short legs with small paws, and a short, thick tail. She has black patches on her head, flanks, and tail.

It is noted by Reedshine that Echosnout's fur began graying at a very young age.

PERSONALITY

Echosnout is a wry, short-tempered cat. She has little tolerance for nonsense, and acts cranky with just about any cat, including her patients. She has a tough love mindset, believing that cats should always hear the truth, even if it's not the kindest thing to say. Despite her blunt honesty, she is not a cruel cat, and does care deeply for others.
