REEDSHINE

Reedshine is a small dark ginger she-cat with blue eyes.

Reedshine was a warrior of RiverClan who served under Birchstar and Darkstar's leadership in the forest territories. Born as Reedkit, she was Darkfrost's first apprentice, Reedpaw. A scatterbrained apprentice, Reedpaw was deeply fond of nest-weaving and frequently became distracted by her passion. She worked hard with her mentor to overcome her difficulties in training, earning her warrior name of Reedshine. She had a long-standing romantic relationship with fellow RiverClan warrior Appledusk, who cheated on her with Mapleshade. She adopted Petalkit and bore Appledusk's kits, later being killed by Mapleshade in battle.

APPEARANCE

Reedshine is a small dark ginger she-cat with blue eyes. She has a wide head with wide-set eyes and a muzzle low on her face. She has slightly droopy ears as well as shaggy fur, and bangs that hang over one of her eyes. She has a small body with a paler, yellowish underbelly and a long, bushy tail. She is short-legged with small paws.

Reedshine styles her bangs to resemble her former mentor, Darkstar's.

PERSONALITY

Reedshine is a kind, observant cat with a warm, sometimes teasing sense of humor. She is highly perceptive of the emotions of others, though she tends to repress her own. She has low self esteem and believes herself not worthy of the same kind treatment she gives to others. She treats her loved ones the way she wishes other cats would treat her; with patience and gentleness.
