Squirrelwhisker is a large, dark brown tabby she-cat with strikingly bright amber eyes.
Squirrelwhisker is a prisoner of ThunderClan under Oakstar's leadership in the forest territories. Formerly a full member of the clan, she was apprenticed to Frecklewish as Squirrelpaw at six moons old. During her apprenticeship she began meeting with Eaglepaw of WindClan, becoming pregnant with his kits. She announced her pregnancy after earning her warrior name, Squirrelwhisker. After her affair was revealed, Oakstar beat her severely, keeping both Squirrelwhisker and her son Windpaw as prisoners in ThunderClan.
APPEARANCE
Squirrelwhisker is a large dark brown tabby she-cat with a muscular build and stocky legs. She has very thick fur around her neck and on her chest, and a bushy, thick tail like a squirrel's that curls at the end. She has small ears and a round head, with large paws and a small nose. Her back is darker while her underbelly is paler. She has strikingly bright amber eyes, as well as prominent whiskers.
Due to her appearance, some cats (such as Frecklewish) mistakenly suspect that she is distant kin of Oakstar.
PERSONALITY
Squirrelwhisker is friendly and upbeat, but also incredibly headstrong and stubborn. She does things her own way, regardless of what other cats have to say about it. She can come off as flippant and irritating to more traditional cats, but her friends find her spunky nature endearing.
Squirrelwhisker is also incredibly fierce and protective, and she's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She loves others very passionately, and won't hesitate to show it. Some find her affection overbearing or annoying.

Squirrelpaw was Frecklewish's apprentice. Oakstar did not have high hopes for Squirrelwhisker, calling her a "bee-brained molly". Squirrelwhisker did not push herself very hard in training, opting instead to learn at her own pace; a tactic that infuriated her strict, traditional mentor to no end. She met Eaglepaw at a gathering and the two had a connection almost immediately. She continued meeting with the gray WindClan tom, and eventually became pregnant with his kits.

Squirrelwhisker recieved her warrior name just one day before meeting Petalpaw at a gathering. Unfazed by the RiverClan apprentice's presence, she announced to her friends as well as her mate that she was expecting kits. She brushed off concerns of possible punishments, insisting that no harm would befall her or her unborn kits.
A few moons later, Squirrelwhisker gave birth to her son Windkit. She brought Windkit to meet Eaglestorm at fourtrees as soon as the kit was old enough to step outside the nursery, ensuring her family would keep a tight bond with each other. However, she soon stopped coming to the meetings, deeply worrying Eaglestorm. When Petalshade attended her first gathering after returning from self-imposed exile, she saw that Squirrelwhisker had been badly beaten and starved, kept as a prisoner by Oakstar in her own home Clan.
RELATIONSHIPS
Eaglestorm
Eaglestorm is Squirrelwhisker's mate. The two met at a gathering soon after becoming apprentices, and Squirrelpaw was smitten with the scrawny, shrimpy WindClan apprentice almost immediately. Squirrelpaw found Eaglepaw's enthusiasm and knowledge of tunneling endearing, while Eaglepaw was taken by Squirrelpaw's confidence. The two longed to have kits together, and Squirrelpaw became pregnant before earning her warrior name; a fact she kept secret until after her ceremony. Both cats were overjoyed by the idea of having kits, despite the risks of their relationship being half-clan. Squirrelwhisker often reassured Eaglestorm, doing her best to qualm his constant worrying.
